Prayer for the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary

O Immaculate Heart of Mary, Holy Mother of God, and our tender Mother, look upon the distress in which the whole of mankind is living due to the spread of materialism, godlessness, and the persecution of the Catholic Faith.

In our own day, the Mystical Body of Christ is bleeding from so many wounds caused within the Church by the unpunished spread of heresies, the justification of sins against the Sixth Commandment, the seeking of the kingdom of earth rather than that of heaven, the horrendous sacrileges against the Most Holy Eucharist, especially through the practice of Communion in the hand, and the Protestant shaping of the celebration of the Holy Mass. Amidst these trials appeared the light of the consecration of Russia to thine Immaculate Heart by the Pope, in union with the world’s bishops.

In Fatima thou didst request the Communion of Reparation on the First Saturdays of the month. Implore thy Divine Son to grant a special grace to the Pope, that he might approve the Communion of Reparation on the First Saturdays.

May Almighty God hasten the time when Russia will convert to Catholic unity, mankind will be given a time of peace, and the Church will be granted an authentic renewal in the purity of the Catholic Faith, the sacredness of divine worship, and the holiness of Christian life. O Mediatrix of all graces, O Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, and our sweet Mother, turn thine eyes of mercy towards us and graciously hear this our trusting prayer. Amen.

Daily Prayer for the Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit

If you are in need of greater faith, strength, understanding and assistance, then start each day with an Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be for the gifts of the Most Holy Spirit; pray it seven times for each gift: Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Fortitude, Knowledge, Piety, Fear of the Lord.

O Lord Jesus Christ Who, before ascending into heaven did promise to send the Holy Spirit to finish Your work in the souls of Your Apostles and Disciples, deign to grant the same Holy Spirit to me that He may perfect in my soul, the work of Your grace and Your love.

Grant me the Spirit of Wisdom that I may despise the perishable things of this world and aspire only after the things that are eternal, the Spirit of Understanding to enlighten my mind with the light of Your divine truth, the Spirit of Counsel that I may ever choose the surest way of pleasing God and gaining heaven, the Spirit of Fortitude that I may bear my cross with You and that I may overcome with courage all the obstacles that oppose my salvation, the Spirit of Knowledge that I may know God and know myself and grow perfect in the science of the Saints, the Spirit of Piety that I may find the service of God sweet and amiable, and the Spirit of Fear that I may be filled with a loving reverence towards God and may dread in any way to displease Him.

Mark me, dear Lord, with the sign of Your true disciples and animate me in all things with Your Spirit. Amen.

Consecration of Your Family to the Blessed Virgin Mary

O Immaculate Virgin Mother, who is Queen of heaven and earth, our life, our sweetness, and our hope, on this day I bring my entire family before you to consecrate ourselves to you as your possession and property. We praise God because he has brought us together to give ourselves to you our Mother. We do this because Jesus said on the Cross, “Behold your Mother.”

We need you, Mother Mary, to help us to be a truly Catholic family. Enter into our family life. Repeat to us the words you spoke at Cana, “Do whatever He tells you.”

Help us to overlook one another’s faults, to forgive as Jesus has forgiven us, and to love one another as Our Lord has asked us to love.

Please use our family to crush the head of the serpent.

Ask your Spouse, Saint Joseph, Protector of the universal Church, to keep us one in mind and heart with your Son’s Vicar, Pope Francis.

Today you have become the Queen of our hearts and home. Help us to grow in faith through your grace. May our home be a “City of the Immaculata,” where the Sacred Heart of Jesus reigns forever. Amen.

Saint Anthony Feast Day Prayer, June 13, 2024

Let us pray to our dear friend in heaven, Saint Anthony, who works many miracles. Yes, he is the finder of lost objects, but he guides souls to Jesus's tender Mercy. Ask Saint Anthony today to guide us to our beloved Jesus, Virgin Mary and Saint Joseph.

Prayer: O gentle Saint Anthony, by your holy and apostolic life, you led countless souls to the love of our Divine Lord. I implore you to obtain for me and my loved ones, His guidance, you who have the power to lead straying sheep back to the fold of Christ and to find articles that are lost. On earth, your heart was filled with compassion for those in distress or sorrow. Please bring my request before the Child Jesus, Who loved to rest in your arms, and I believe that you will help me to remain always close to our Divine Lord. O miraculous friend and Wonder Worker, in this hour of need please obtain what I ask of you. Amen.

Act of Consecration to Mary

As given to us by Saint Louis de Montfort

I, NAME, a faithless sinner, renew and ratify today in thy hands the vows of my Baptism; I renounce forever Satan, his pomps and works; and I give myself entirely to Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Wisdom, to carry my cross after Him all the days of my life, and to be more faithful to Him than I have ever been before.

In the presence of all the heavenly court, I choose thee this day for my Mother and Mistress. I deliver and consecrate to thee, as thy slave, my body and soul, my goods, both interior and exterior, and even the value of all my good actions, past, present and future; leaving to thee the entire and full right of disposing of me, and all that belongs to me, without exception, according to thy good pleasure, for the greater glory of God in time and in eternity. Amen.

'You Are the Light of the World,' Today's Gospel, June 11

Meditation: Heart of Jesus, one with the eternal Word have mercy on us.

Today's Gospel: Matthew 5:13-16

Jesus said to his disciples:

“You are the salt of the earth. But if salt loses its taste, with what can it be seasoned?

It is no longer good for anything but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.

You are the light of the world.

A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden.

Nor do they light a lamp and then put it under a bushel basket; it is set on a lampstand, where it gives light to all in the house.

Just so, your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father.”

The Sermon on the Mount, Today's Gospel Reading, June 10

Meditation: Open our hearts to Your Grace, good God, that we may be intent on doing Your Most Holy Will.  Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Pray for the gift of Divine Mercy.

Today's Gospel, Matthew 5:1-12

When Jesus saw the crowds, he went up the mountain, and after he had sat down, his disciples came to him. He began to teach them, saying:

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted.

Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land.

Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied.

Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.

Blessed are the clean of heart, for they will see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.

Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you and utter every kind of evil against you falsely because of me.

Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven.

Thus they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”

'My Immaculate Heart Will Triumph!'

"In the end, My Immaculate Heart will triumph!" The Blessed Virgin Mary spoke these words to the shepherd children of Fatima, Portugal more than 100 years ago to give Earth the glorious hope of Heaven.

Today is the holy feast day of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, who is our Mother as well as Jesus's. Her Fatima apparitions to the children give us courage to continue in this life until we receive our eternal rest. We ask her to intercede for us in all of our difficulties.

We must hope in Mary, even as we suffer and face discouragement in our earthly ways, that she will resolve all of our challenges and bring us close to the Heart of her Son in one Holy Trinity. The Immaculate Heart of Mary is the day after the Sacred Heart of Jesus's feast day

Saint Faustina wrote in her Diary, Divine Mercy of My Soul, about Immaculate Virgin Mary: "You are my strength, O secure anchor, You are a shield and protection for a weak heart."

"Your beauty enthralled the Thrice-Holy One's eye,
That He came down from heaven, forsaking th'eternal
See's throne,
And assumed from Your Heart Body and Blood,
Hiding for nine months in the Virgin's Heart."

Read more from the Marians of the Immaculate Conception about Mary on her feast day and our dear Saint Faustina.

Prayer of Reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

O Most Holy Virgin and our Mother, we listen with grief to the complaints of your Immaculate Heart surrounded with the thorns which ungrateful men place therein at every moment by their blasphemies and ingratitude.

Moved by the ardent desire of loving you as Our Mother and of promoting a true devotion to your Immaculate Heart, we prostrate ourselves at your feet to prove the sorrow we feel for the grievance that men cause you, and to atone, by means of our prayers and sacrifices, for the offenses with which men return your tender love.

Obtain for them and for us the pardon of so many sins. A word from you will obtain grace and amendment for us all.

Hasten, O Lady, the conversion of sinners, that they may love Jesus and cease to offend the Lord, already so much offended, and will not fall into hell. Turn your eyes of mercy toward us, that henceforth we may love God with all our heart while on earth and enjoy Him forever in heaven.  Amen.
